being welcomed by a crazy-drunkard-who-hates-chinese on our veri first night at the motel ...
wowing at our super neat accomodation at the sports centre ...
chasing the 3 fat geese in sch...
looking forward to lunches at the student restaurant ...
"building a house" examples ...
trying to keep ourselves awake during french cilisation lectures ...
supermarketing at leaderprice (our all time fav activity!) ...
meeting at our makeshift pantry for microwaved dinners ...
life at its simplest!
so what is Troyes famous for ....
#1 UTT of course !!! lol
our veri pretty school compound ...
#2 Factory Outlets
this is the biggest one in town ...
lots of brands ... but unfortunately not pocket frenly enough ...
everyone had their fill of adidas though ...
#3 Stained Glass
#4 The world's largest tool museum :P
& last but not least ...
#5 Andouillette (the sausage)
a definite muz try cos its a Troyes specialty !
ie. u wont get to find this elsewhere ...
looks apetizing doesnt it :P

Town Center
quaint little place with lovely wooden houses ...
wad i've always imagined architecture in europe to look like ...
Student Restaurant
a tray full of food for 2.75 euros ...
& look at the humongous portion of fries ...
now u noe where the weight gain came from ...

the place to get the cheapest groceries in town ...
& ironically where we spent most of our $$ ... lol

smthing i'll nvr get to see in sg ...

arc de triomphe
284 steps up the arc is no joke when ur knee prob is acting up ...
but i muz sae the effort was well worth it !
great view of the organised streets & the 8? roads that led to the arc ...
Eiffel Tower
we actually braved the supposed 9 degree weather with our 3 layers of clothes all the way up to the peak of eiffel !
have nvr experienced freezing in this scale ...
no pics up there cos my hair was all over the place... lol
Versailles
the most memorable part of Versailles to me was its garden ...
the place is so huge its like a garden cum maze ...
a pity we got chased away by the rain ...
wanted to add this cos i love the colours ...
Forêt D’Orient’s Lakes
uber fun day ...
we tried catamaran (smthing like sailing?) & i realised that i'm actually quite good at it ... lol ...
was super relaxing to feel the breeze in ur face as u drift along with the waves ...
presided the "no. 1 raphael fan club" ...
& got rejected by xiu mei mao ... all thx to yanahan :(

Gala at UTT
that's the most presentable pic i could find ...
i realise the party culture over there is to get drunk bfor the event starts -_-
so the onli highlight for me was the fireworks ...
yes ... fireworks for a sch event !!!
